Midnight Murder Maze POC
"How many different ways are there to kill a man? Why, I don't know my dear Colonel, but what a lovely question."
Quote by the Contessa Desmodonia von Macelar, The lunatic mastermind of the Midnight Murder Maze.
---
In the late 1800's Contessa Macelar constructed the murderous maze structure that became infamous around the globe. It was a pitch-black maze filled to the brim with many varied and ghastly ways to die.
Then she started running peasants through it, keeping tabs on how many bodies were left on the floor. Like we said, lunatic.

Okay, sir. I've died SO many times. I'm currently playing on the challenging difficulty and get swarmed by zombies (are those my bodies?!) and ghosts. Definitely feels better playing w a controller vs kbm. Trap doors can suck my ass. I'm not sure what I should be using jump for (haven't run into anything yet unless you can detect trap doors!) Cool game. I'll be looking forward to its future development! Love the ambient spooky music btw <3
Edit: Ok so jumping is WAY more useful than I thought. My advice, Jump more ;)
First time ever giving a review. English is not my first language. Sorryyy
Super fun game concept!! I was just playing it for 30 minutes and had a lot of fun. Of course I am aware this is like the most alpha version of a game ever.
I wish there was something of a progression in this game. Think of it like with rewards, different levels, roguelike progression with power-ups. (think of vampire survivors) The more you play the harder levels you can play.
It also think it would be fun if you could choose different characters with different strength. Like for example one character has extra speed, one has extra life, one has double jump. Idk just naming things.
Good luck with developing this game and I hope to see it on Steam!!

OK, ladies and gents, our POC is now live and open to the public!!
Please leave feedback here and/or DM us with your thoughts. We've been building the maze since last Oct and are realy hoping to have it out on Steam before Spooky Season '25!
Cheers all and remember: LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR!
